We went on a nice little backpack trip for a few days in the Lower Stein river valley. It was only 3 hours from home. It was sunny and warm there and everywhere else near home was rainy and cool. Perfect choice 🙂
The Lower Stein River below our campsite. I sat here after breakfast and just watched this little piece of the river for a long time. I was mesmerized. I love the sound of water, especially when it “roars”. Really “cleans out” the mind.

Rich, I love the colors and I absolutely adore water, from rain drops hitting the metal heater, to wind and rain in the trees and especially the sound of waves and running water in the wild or at the ocean, or in a small creek when it trickles and tinkles. Water is rejuvenating. thanks for this post.
